This park is beautiful and reminded me somewhat of a shorter, greener Zion National Park in Utah. We came for the via ferrata and were not disappointed! It's a great activity for the whole family (as long as you're not too afraid of heights). We...More

The Mont Du Lac des Signes (swan lake) is one of the high peaks in Quebec. It's very easy to get to the summit... you could almost get there with a walker. If you're in climbing mountains or trails you'll be disappointed.

Great hike with a beautiful viewpoint at the top, from which we spotted a moose. The park is clean, well-maintained and has excellent facilities (dry toilets along the trail). We highly recommend bug spray (those black flies are everywhere), however there is a picnic area...More

The sentier Mont-du-lac-des-cygnes is a beautiful 8.4 km (return trip) hiking trail in the Parc National des Grands Jardins located just minutes from Baie Saint-Paul. This is one of several trails available in the Parc National des Grands Jardins. An intermediate-level trail... this trail has...More

We spent a day here during a recent trip to Quebec. The views of the mountains and lakes were beautiful. After driving the paved roads to the nature center we drove the dirt road along the lakes to several river access points. We also took...More

During our round trip in Canada we visited several national and provincial parks. This park was my personal favorite because of the changing landscapes and the beautiful mountains. We were lucky to see a moose in the middle of the road when we returned home...More

Had a few hours for hiking. This trail is pretty popular but was not overcrowded when we were there. The trails are impeccably maintained, like gnomes rake the gravel every morning. The climb was not too difficult and the scenery is beautiful.

I was recently in Grands Jardins, for the second time in four years. Unlike my first trip when I'd hiked in beautiful early fall weather and with fall colours in effect, this was one rugged wintry experience. I went up Mont du Lac de Cygnes...More
