We loved our visit to the donkey sanctuary and it was great to be able to feed them too. You can adopt the donkeys which makes a really lovely gift. It is Christmas Eve and I am very disappointed. I paid to adopt a donkey for a family member as a Christmas gift in 28th November. It says on the website I would receive this in 10 days! On 16th December I emailed them to say I had not received anything. I was emailed back saying they had 700 adoptions to sort and all would be post on Wednesday which was 18th. Nothing has arrived! I emailed again yesterday and have not had a reply. The website states they are closed until Saturday.…

What a wonderful place for donkeys. Fabulous staff, so kind and helpful and knowledgeable. The donkeys were clearly well looked after and very content. Well worth the vist. I will be going again.

Lovely family day out not expensive and great to feed the donkeys. Great walks but nothing to steep. Loads of donkeys all very keen for you to feed them!

This place has limited opening hours so check before you set off. I also suggest you have some covered in outdoor shoes on as some of the tracks are a bit muddy. You can buy tokens from the little shop to buy food pellets for the animals. Don't put all your pellets in one container as the first donkey you meet will eat them all! There were hand sanitizers for you to use afterwards.…
