We didn’t see any dolphins, but the boat trip was really lovely. Did see seals, guillemots, shags, cormorants, and a young gannet. Spud the dog was also great. We loved the sense of humour, had us laughing all the while.

Well organised. Easy to book. Value for money. Very professional and knowledgeable skipper who clearly loves his job and the dolphins.

The boat trip was definitely the highlight of our holiday - beautiful weather, lots of seals sunning themselves and finally four dolphins, including a calf, which stayed around the boat for a good while. Everyone was enchanted and it was lovely to see how pleased the skipper was to have found them too. We felt very lucky.

We booked this trip for just the four of us in the hope of seeing Dolphins but always knew it was going to be a question of being in the right place at the right time........ The hour long boat trip was great fun and our skipper could not have done more for us in trying to spot dolphins. Unfortunately for us it was not to be but we still felt the trip was worth the £100 ( £25 each)) we had paid just to view the surrounding area from the water and to learn a little about the coastline and local industries from our skipper. We opted to have 'Spud' the boats 'canine skipper' who was as eager as us to try and spot a dolphin or two! We were lucky with the weather which always helps and that vessel can get up to some exciting speeds when required! I think the way to consider a trip like this is that is is a 'fun' 1 hour private boat trip and if you happen to see dolphins that really is a big bonus. Would recommend you hire the vessel out for just your party (up to 6 I think is the max but can be just 2 of you) for the £100 and enjoy the ride!!

Great fun and we spotted loads of dolphins! Our 5 year old niece absolutely loved it (and so did we!) The dolphins are usually at Chanonry point shortly after low tide, but the water is only high enough to leave about 2.5hrs after low tide, so if you aim for that time then you'll have a good chance of seeing lots.
