A good few activities on throughout the day from feeding time with the big cats to falconry. Amazing to watch the birds in action and the bond they have with the trainer. Lovely seeing the animals up close and being able to go in with the goats and walking around with them was great.

As the weather was a bit wet and cold it was reasonably quiet, which was nice. Some of the animals were probably keeping warm so did don't get to see everything however there was still lots to see. The brown bear and jaguar being my personal favourites. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable, which made it a great... More

Loved it as a fan of Big Cats and Bears this place was heaven for me. Bears, Lions, Tigers, Cheetahs, Jaguars and Lynx, was a little worried at first as it is quite a yomp up hill from the car park to the zoo itself, but once in love the selection of Big cats on display, special shout out to... We spent the afternoon being shown round by a very knowledgeable guide, and all 5 kids under 12 loved it - despite snow and freezing wind. Seeing tiger climb a tree was awesome

Had a lovely time. The staff were so helpful and informed us on anything we wanted to know. The tigers, lions, and bears, were the kids main attraction. We will be returning when the weather gets warmer. Thank you for a lovely time.

I visited here in January after hearing good things. It could not of been further from the truth, a couple of acres of field with extremely extremely depressed animals. You only have to look at the photographs on here to see it for yourself. Enclosures are far too small for all the animals especially the meerkats. Tigers and lion enclosure... More

We arrived on a bleak January day not expecting to see that much however the day transpired to be fabulous! We were greeted by Ray at the big cat enclosure who was more than happy to enlighten us on the animals, diets and history. It was like having a personal guide and so nice to have someone so passionate and... More

I was stung by the small print in the groupon offer for 2 adults and 2 children at the zoo. It cannot be used at weekends, fridays or school holidays. It basically cannot be used by a family or kids as they will be in school (and we get fined for taking kids out of school). Whoever thought up this... More

It's a good zoo! The range of carnivores is great, I really enjoyed seeing the bears, jaguar, lynx, and wolves! However it's not really possible to stay for more than 2 hours and accessibility is limited. The fences around many of the enclosures were worrying. They were bent in many places!

Been here before. Came again with the family on a Groupon offer. Really good for the kids. Cafe food ok. Enjoyed the big cats. They seem closer than Paignton Zoo. Would recommend to others and come again.
