The grounds are beautiful and the history of the estate is quite interesting. The presentation about how cognac is made was quite informative. But the tasting was not what I expected. I've tried several cognacs (think Hennessy) and found them not to be to my liking. I really enjoyed all the cognacs in the tasting room even the fortified sweet... More

This is a charming countryside location of a 19th Century Cognac estate. The usual tour of wine barrels is finished off with a tasting room where several varieties of cognac are offered for tasting. The room was too crowded for the tour group of 45 plus guests and there was a disorganized showroom selling bottles to go.

We visited as a part of a tour and were favorably impressed by both the clarity of exposition and the knowledge of the guide. Although it's not my drink of choice, the tour and tasting were quite informative. Nice to know something of the history of the brand.
