We stopped over on our way back from viewing the lava flows and "lava church" and are so glad we stopped! My husband speaks French, so was able to translate what the guide was saying. The guide was very charming and humorous. It seems this place gets quite a lot of visitors, so surely an English info sheet would be... More

The garden is wonderful but they only offer French speaking guides. There are no signs of anything, so if you don't speak French quite well it will only be a garden with a lot of plants to you. On top, I found their shop to be quite expensive.

Beautiful garden, very friendly guide, practical with children. You can also buy organic vanilla and essential oils from their estates.

Excellent experience, strongly recommended to anyone who wants to learn in a couple of hours the flora of the island and see and experience the spices. Guide was excellent. Excellent spices and vanilla available in the shop - the curcuma is a world apart from what we can get in the UK!

They say that there is a very good guide - we saw him surrounded by tourists, but he speaks just french... Small shop full of vanile is very... More

Tour is in French. The owner guided our group. He's extremely knowledgeable and a good guide, enthusiastic, friendly, helpful. You should reserve for your tour. We reserved for 9 adults at 10:30, but the whole reserved group was so enormous (and that's the only fault, in my opinion), we waited a few extra minutes and the owner took our splinter... More

This was a wonderful stop for us, beautiful flowers and exotic plants that we had never seen anywhere. Cinnamon trees! Our guide explained everything to us, a must to enjoy this location. Wonderful gift shop with lots of interesting things to take home.

the garden is mature with big and high trees and many tropical flowers. The guided tours are in French, but idf you are a botanist you'll easily understand all the names of the plants and trees. At he end of the vist, you can buy fresh vanilla, but it seems to be a little bit expensive. There is a better... More
