Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic historical monastery in a beautiful touristic Tsaghkadzor. Definitely it's worth to visit and see this unique church complex.

We walked from the Mariott hotel, which took about 20 minutes and was mostly uphill. The views of the monastery were beautiful; it had an atmosphere of serenity and peacefulness on the inside. The area around the monastery was also splendid, snow-covered with mountains in the backdrop. It has been well kept and is close to the town centre, so it is worth a visit!

I’m guessing this place is historical in Tsagkadzor as we visited this one as a part of our tour.

What I like in this complex is that they have a QR Code near the entrance you read the history behind the place which is helpful for the solo traveler without guide.

Nice 11-13th century monastery worth visiting if in town. Can be done in less than half hour. Great example of Armenian history in a very convenient location.

I would not travel to the town to visit this site, but the Monastery is worth a visit if in the area for people interested in history. After visiting so many on our trip, this one was just another site on our route.

It's like you are walking inside a medieval themed movie. The monastery is not as big as some monasteries we went to and it was not as far areas as well but it was still a memorable one.
