Just of the motorway this well kept country house offers an insite to the local history of the area. Only open in the summer I strongly recomend a visit as the guides are very knowledgable explaining the history of the house and grounds.

Went here with the wedding couple, crew and family the next day after the wedding before everyone caught flights back home. My family didn't do the guided tour of the manor but one couple who did said they thought the tour was excellent and they were fascinated by the things they learned. The rest of us walked around the grounds,... More

We visited this nearby Manor as we were staying down the road. You need to pay for parking and guided tours are not in English and priced at $100 sek per adult kids are free. I thought the guided tour was a bit steep in price for what it was. There is the largest tree in Sweden around the back... More

It's more of a mansion and it's not open for public. But the surroundings are stunning. Great swings for the kids and perfect for a long walk (no matter the season). There's 2 caffees in the area but both of them kinda suck. One of them (the artsy one) even served my 9 year old an alcoholic beverage. So; none... More

The area offers beautiful walks and guided tours, and a decent cafe.Note that you can only visit the castle during guided tours. The area also includes a building conservation center.Well preserved environment.

A wonderful place to visit in summertime. The guide that did the tour through the house was good and entertaining to listen to. He took the time to tell my son a short story about a ghost as my son wanted to know if it was a hounted house.

Some lovely walks in the park-lands of this historic villa. It is colorful, all year round. Summer is green, autumn is special when the tree turn into gold, and winter is picturesque in the snow. Quite enchanting for this area of Sweden, which is not so inspiring in any season. Home to Sweden's thickest beech tree, with a circumference of... More

The Nääs manor is situated on an lovely peninsula in the beautiful Lake Sävelången NE of Göteborg. The setting is pastoral with horses in the meadows, mighty oakes and footpaths to take leisurely strolls on. At the manor you will find a coffe shop with cakes and refreshments, in the summertime you can enjoy your coffee outside. The manor itself?... More
