Beautiful classes, teachers and location

the most stunning location for yoga, with lovely teachers. I went to a great class specified to surfing recovery which was amazing, highly recommend.

Phenomenal location with stunning views across the trees and onto the bay. The surf stretch yoga class with our teacher, whose name was Free, was very relaxing. A great routine but could have explained the stretches a bit more.

Amazing yin yoga with sound healing with Dewi

On top of the hill, surrounded by jungle, there is the beautiful Ashtari yoga center.
And even better, Dewi teach a combination of yin yoga sound healing (and other classes).
The sound healing combined with the gentle yin yoga practice is an experience you won't forget.
To try and to come back again and again!

A tranquil haven of peace and serenity, top notch instructors

I had the opportunity to attend a couple of yoga sanctuaries, but found that Ashtari Yoga is the best in Kuta, & perhaps Lombok & the Gili Islands. From attending per class session, to buying 3 class package and finally, I did a one week unlimited package.

Here’s what make Ashtari Yoga different from other yoga places in Kuta, though prices are similar.

- I consider myself a beginner in yoga. Both Dewi and Almitra are attentive towards my postures and regularly correcting them when needed

- Both instructors always emit positive & zen vibes

- Each yoga session is conducted amongst the lush green forest, surrounded by nature, i.e. birds, monkeys, etc...

- The place is situated on the edge of a hill with an amazing view of Kuta, the beach and the ocean. You’ll never get bored of the view

- It is the LITTLE DETAILS OF ATTENTION from both instructors (Dewi and Almitra) that set this place top notch. For example, Dewi will put some essential oils on you during shavasana, and Almitra will always make sure that each leg pose doesnt hurt my right knee due to injury

- Staff is all friendly and smiley

- Classes are kept small & this is crucial especially for beginners like me

- Free kambucha after every class is a nice touch and bonus

I highly recommend Ashtari Yoga to those who want to practise yoga while in Kuta, Lombok.

What a blast

I had the opportunity to join the yin sound healing and handstand class with Dewi and it was a blast. She is a great teacher, with so much softness and knowledge. a chanting at the end was the best for ending up the class. The place is so beautiful and already so quiet. Best place ever to do yoga in Kuta.

Worth to try, Amazing Coach, and View, Highly Recommend!

I had lived in Kuta for 9 months and every week I spent my early mornings to have a yoga classes there, couldn't describe how beautiful it was, combining with the view and the tutor, turns every movement into beautiful energy. I joined vinyasa yoga that could increase your sweat and bring yourself into a good mood and happiness. It's not only for body's workout even the soul is too. Overall, it was memorable experience to do yoga which suppporting with a nice open yoga deck towards the Kuta beach view, and the last, thank you so much to warm hearted coach, Almitra. Looking forward to seeing you again soon!
