A great 5th visit!

Spent another lovely overnight stay at Cedar Falls, and as usual, not disappointed. My friend and I shared room 3, which was spacious with a small table and two chairs, and had... read more

Had a wonderful day on Monday, 03 April celebrating my daughter's 30th birthday. Lovely clean swimming pool area, comfortable loungers - where I even managed to fall asleep! We had three treatments each - great facial, strange but relaxing dry float massage and perfect pedicure. Our lunch was delicious. We had the Top To Toe day and found it very... More

I want to make sure I'm fair as I really want to be, I also know that if I get a response it will be too refute everything I write. My best friend and I regularly frequent Ragdale Hall and love it, but my dad lives in Taunton and he had been ill so we decided to try Cedar Falls... More

We called to enquire about a spa day for 6 of us. Wanted to make it special and have afternoon tea, treatments etc. As soon as we mentioned it was a hen day we were told no we don't do hen days and phone was put down on us. Now considering the bride to be is the youngest at 46... More

Spent another lovely overnight stay at Cedar Falls, and as usual, not disappointed. My friend and I shared room 3, which was spacious with a small table and two chairs, and had nice views. The only downside was that the radiator just couldn't cope with the large room with twin aspect windows. A fan heater or similar is needed in... More

There was no luxury, staff were polite but unhelpful. The whole building was cold and people had to borrow blankets to sit by the pool. Lunch was a cold buffet (did have soup) and didn't even include a drink! We were told we had paid in full on the phone and then charged extra on the day - this was... More

This was our 2nd Travelzoo deal visit, the first one being just under 2 years ago. This time we were only allocated single rooms, as per the terms of our deal, but the rooms had recently undergone refurbishment and were therefore comfortable and tastefully decorated. We were told that the WiFi only really worked in the drawing room but it... More

My view is based on many past visits and my present visit. The positives - our receptionist, Aimee, was excellent - both charming and helpful. She showed us two superior rooms - one had been recently decorated very tastefully and the other was the shabbier no 6 room which has been criticised on this site. Although the newer rooms look... This place is considerably ran down and shabby looking. The décor is cheap and nasty with very little thought gone into the interior aspects of the building. For example chipped furniture and bad paint work everywhere you look, just looks incredibly tired which is not what you'd expect from a spa. Terrible shower rooms, bad water pressure, towels were provided... More

Myself and friends have been visiting cedar falls twice a year for a few years now, and I've also been with my husband. A beautiful house in lovely grounds. The bedrooms are excellent. The food in the restaurant breakfast, lunch and the evening meal are always excellent. As is the afternoon tea which can be served in the drawing room... More
