We visited this place while visiting Gourdon. The ladies were lovely and very helpful and informative. However the bottom line it was an old lifeboat and no different from any other similar attraction.

Great little museum showing the history of the fishing industry in the area and the role played by the local lifeboats and crew during that time. So much interesting stuff packed into a small area. Well worth a visit but check it's open before making...More

The museum is staffed by volunteers and isn't open all the time - check opening times. From memory it's afternoons Thursday - Sunday. There is so much packed into this old lifeboat station relating to the maritime history of the area. The guides are very...More
