lovely place for long walks, lots of rock pools. Not sure how high the tide comes but need to keep your eye on it. Lovely to walk to Seaton after eating at Inn on the Shore.

One of the last dog friendly beaches around, stunning views and easy walking all the way to Seaton. Cafe and bars local worth even just a visit for a look. Spectacular seas in winter and surfer world..

We saw it in all seasons throughout the course of the week. Day one was in bikinis in the sea and day two was wrapped up in coats and battling the rain. Great dog walking and you can get all the way to seaton at...More

Lovely quiet beach just off main road, parking on the road or on a car park, toilets just at the top of the path leading down to the beach. Long stretch of beach lots of room for the dogs to roam, rock pools to explore...More

We came here on a pretty busy Sunday. The beach was ok, quite dark sand but the real positive was that our dog was allowed off the lead and she had a ball in the sea. It won't blow you away, but it's ok particularly...More

We visited twice in the same week as the tide was already covering the rock pools the first time. It was lovely and quiet both times. The first visit was a lovely sunny day and my son loved doing the usual - building sand castles,...More

Lovely quiet beach just off the main road in Downderry, but extends along to Seaton too. Some sand, with pebbles and rock pools at low tides. Lovely walk, dogs allowed. Parking in Seaton and a little in Downderry. Good for water sports, life guard on...More

Have stayed at Downderry for 3 years now and love the walking along Downderry beach. The tide comes right up to the bottom of the small cliff and when it goes out exposes plenty of interesting rocks and pools.

Nothing official, but I believe naturists have used a section of beach at the very far eastern end which is a separate section of beach completely and only accessible if you clamber over a section of rock at low tide. I walk... More

From recollection there is a proper car park and parking when we visited was quite easy. Well worth a stop and visit. I have no idea what the cost was because we parked in the car park at the cafe on the beach. It was... More
