We recently participated in Coast Mountain's Bute Inlet trip and we can't say enough about it. Even the rain we experienced 2 days out of 5 is a distant memory and part of the experience. The organization of the trip was excellent. The food was unbelievable and well beyond our expectations. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We witnessed... More

Both newcomers to BC, Gilles and I always dreamed of a kayaking and camping expedition and we feel so lucky to have found CME via an online search. From start to finish, our multi-day padding trip through the Discovery Islands was well run with a focus on hospitality. We started our trip with a warm overnight stay at the beautiful... More

My husband and I just got home after paddling with Coast Mountain Expeditions on their Surge Narrows Marine Park day trip and also their 7 night Orford River Grizzly Bear Expedition up Bute Inlet. We stayed at their Discovery Island lodge for a couple of nights before beginning the multi-day trip, and at their Read Island lodge for a couple... More

We went on a 3 day, 3 night trip with Coast Mountain with the first night at their lodge on Read Island. First of all it's an incredibly beautiful area so exploring it by kayak is wonderful in general. But everything about our trip was great. The lodge is comfortable and fun considering that it is located on an island... More

Lannie & Ralph have this wonderful ability of making you feel like family in their perfect paddler oasis on Read Island. My wife and I along with the other couple whom we were travelling with absolutely loved everything about the Coast Mountain experience. The four of us are of all different paddling abilities and chose the sea kayak lodge getaway... More

My boyfriend and I did the Octopus Islands Discovery trip and this was by far one of the best guided tours I have ever done. To start, the lodge on Read Island is such a great place to begin your trip. The rooms are comfortable, clean and inviting. If there's a little bit of rain, ask to warm up in... More

We spent 5 wonderful days at Discovery Island Lodge. The staff were lively, energetic, and welcoming - simply fantastic hosts. The lodge is very comfortable and in a great location close to Surge Narrows and a short paddle to the Octopus Islands. The breakfast was hardy and varied each morning. Highly recommended for those that want to enjoy the best... More

This is our third stay with CME.  First trip we stayed at discovery lodge and did day kayak excursions.   The following year we did the Octopus Island trip and this time we came back for the Desolation Sound excursion.  Each trip has been excellent.  Ralph and Lannie Keller are outstanding hosts and the care, commitment and attention to detail for... I've been to a number of places that have a certain indescribable feel to them, call it "magic". The coastal waters of the inside straight between Vancouver Island and the mainland is one such place. With the calm clear waters of the many islands, bays, and little villages. Coast Mountain Expeditions makes it all the more enjoyable. 5 of us... More
