This mill has still working looms and produces beautiful blankets and shawls as well as other items, do ask Gordon to tell you the history of this place and chat with the delightful ladies in the gift shop.

A wonderfully preserved mill. Uniquely presented by the owner. The 130 years old machines are still operated daily (on weekdays) Among others, the tartans for “Braveheart” were designed and made here. Very remarkable!

The mill is an interesting place to visit, and outside there's a beautiful small little river to stroll along with a picnic bench, so a lovely place to stop. Ask Gordon to show your kids the magic trick, my 8 year old thought he was...More
