Great family day trip!
Jun 2021 • Family
Saw this on the internet while we were visiting the Norfolk area and was very impressed.

My 3 year old absolutely loved the place and there was a nice variety of things to do as well.

Very covid safe with well prepared activities and plenty of space as well as good one way systems.

We would definitely visit hear again as I feel it would be even better once allowed to properly reopen.

A great family day out.
May 2021 • Family
A great value day out. We all enjoyed looking at the dinosaurs and the animals, as well as the other activities. I felt that the place was well designed. There is plenty to do. Unfortunately due to Covid and naff weather we did not get to enjoy all the activities. I would recommend bringing your own food as catering was limited.

4year old loved it- some small issues
Jun 2021 • Family
We visited on the 1st June, it was a gorgeously hot day and our 4 year old had a wonderful day. We booked a 10am slot to arrive, which meant he was able to get on things before the queues started building up. He loved the go karts and of course the Dino trail. We didn’t get to go in the Splash Park sadly- the slots were all booked up by the time we got there- I understand the need for booking but it might be a good idea to maybe allow people to book this online when ordering their ticket? Maybe with a refundable desposit to ensure you turn up for your slot or cancel in good time and it doesn’t go to waste?

As noted our son had a wonderful day, and we will no doubt be back again as he is Dino obsessed at the moment and had such a great time. The park is lovely and full of great ideas.

However as adults, I was disappointed with the lack of hand sanitiser available, considering the park had not long opened for the day. There were stands available but they were empty. At least 4 we tried were all out- the fossil digging area and Dino trail were the two I could remember. We also couldn’t see any available staff to tell.
I feel the dinos on the Dino trail could do with a little TLC too considering the ticket prices.

These are the only reasons I marked at 3 star, but for a nice day out with Dino loving children, they will certainly have a good time here 😊

Dear FlossyEms, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback after your recent adventure with us. We are glad you enjoyed our attractions and the weather was on your side – our Dinosaur Trail is always a popular hit with our guests – something we are famous for. We hope you spotted our huge Brachiosaurus as you made your way round! In relation to Dippy’s Splash Zone, booking is being offered on a first-come-first served basis at the attraction, on the day of your visit in busy periods. As much as we’d love our Dippy’s Splash Zone to be running at full capacity, it is important that we abide by the current Government’s Covid-19 guidelines, so we can keep our guests and crew safe and ensure social distancing is met. We apologise that you could not get a slot when you visited. We have explored the option of booking the splash zone while booking your park tickets and at the moment it is not currently possible to do so, with our ticketing system provider. We appreciate that you recognise that we are a park with ‘great ideas’ – we always to come up with immersive and innovative ways to connect with our dino explorers. All of our sanitisers are filled regularly and checked by our team frequently throughout the day. Unfortunately, the PIR sensor sanitizers are sensitive to bright sun light interfering with the return reading on the PIR sensor, so can sometimes take a little bit of time to function – but we have installed small little signs on the units to inform people of this. We will of course take on board your comment about our Dinosaur Trail – we have recently seen some improvements made to our dinosaurs via our scenic artist team and this will continue to happen. We once again appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon! Park Manager Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure

Roarsome adventure indeed
Jun 2021
There are lots of activities for children (we took a 5 year old). The water park was lovely (20 minutes), multiple play areas for different ages and abilities, the Dippy movie and show was enjoyable and the opportunity to meet and greet the characters delighted too.

There are lots of activities to do in between from karting and animal farm to the indoor play adventure. This place is definitely worth the money. 5*.

Dear FBList, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a ROARR-some 5-star review of your recent visit to our park. We appreciate the feedback and how you enjoyed your day out – of which we have over 25 dinosaur themed attractions on offer. It means a lot to the team that you enjoyed our brand new attraction for 2021 – Dippy’s Theatre. A significant investment for us, during challenging times, we really wanted to offer something new and exciting for our guests to enjoy. We hope you can join us again soon for another ROARR-some Adventure! Park Manager Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure

A day in a big play park
Jun 2021 • Family
We visited this week , they no longer offer a free return which makes the day expensive
On top of that it’s a 20m slot for the water park but was fully booked before we arrived at 11.30 which we should really be able to book online or a slot offered to each guest , this left me with 3 very sad children
The site was clean and tidy as always .

Dear Outfairview, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback after your recent visit to our park. Are you referring to the 50% off return 2nd visit voucher we offered back in 2019? Unfortunately, we did not continue this scheme into 2020 and 2021 due to the government lockdowns etc. But of course, we will take on board your feedback. We apologise that our time slots for Dippy’s Splash Zone had sold out when you arrived. We have explored the option of booking Dippy's splash zone while booking your park tickets and at the moment it is not currently possible to do so, with our ticketing system provider. Booking is being offered on a first-come-first served basis and specifically with Dippy’s Splash Zone; booking time slots – at the attraction, on the day of your visit in busy periods. As much as we’d love our Dippy’s Splash Zone to be running at full capacity, it is important that we abide by the current Government’s Covid-19 guidelines, so we can keep our guests and crew safe and ensure social distancing is met. We ensure we update our website, to reflect the latest news and updates with all the latest guidelines and restrictions including the booking processes. However, that being said, we cannot guarantee that all who wish to use Dippy’s Splash Zone will be able to on the day. As you can imagine, Dippy’s Splash Zone is a very popular attraction, especially with the amazing sunny and dry weather we have been experiencing. We do encourage checking the attractions which your family are keen to visit whilst on the park on the day. We thank you again for your feedback and hope you can come and visit us again soon – so we can hopefully achieve a 5-star review next time. Park Manager Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure

Brilliant dino day
Jun 2021 • Family
We visited in half term. This isn't a theme park with rides, it is a family dino themed attraction . It was fairly busy but only queues for ice creams and the indoor play, the latter we weren't bothered about anyway and we just bided our time with the ice cream queue. But I agree the ice cream queue was ludicrously long.
Food restaurant is fish based, sit in or takeaway. We ate in, decent portions. There are also 2 takeaway snack shacks.
Top tip is to go straight to the splash zone on arrival and book your 20 min time slot for later that day. It sounds short but the kids all went mad for the 20 mins and loved it. Get them changed before so you don't lose time- ours went in in their shorts and tshirt and we had a spare outfit ready for after.
There are no animatronic dinosaurs but seeing as smaller children get upset with these I think it's a wise choice. The dinos are static or with moving heads ( a couple), and nearly all have a speaker nearby for the noises. The environment is lovely - loads of trees and foliage and shade. The wood walk is great exercise and enjoyable, nothing scary to jump out at you. Look out for the brachiosaurus! Amazing!
Huge playground in the centre and loads of open grass to sit on. 8 hole crazy golf, excavation, high ropes (you'd need to be a brave small child to do this, our 5 year old took one look and said no, ha), shows in the theatre, neanderthal trail, go karts and cars and more.
A really really good day out. Well done, Roarr.

Dear Travelhols18, Thank you for leaving us your ROARR-some feedback after your visit to our park – we really appreciate you coming to experience what we have on offer. We are glad you enjoyed our attractions, including Dippy’s Splash Zone, Dinosaur Trail, Outdoor Adventure Play Area, Jurassic Put, Predator High Ropes, Dippy’s Theatre and more! We are really proud of what our park has to offer and we love hearing about families creating lasting memories together and embarking on new adventures. We do have two animatronic dinosaurs, one at the front of the park and one near our Cretaceous Cavern and also over 110 other life-sized dinosaurs to discover – all set in 85 acres of parkland. We are gad you enjoyed our food offering too and apologise for the queue for ice creams – this will be fed back to improve our service. Thanks again for visiting our all-inclusive dinosaur adventure park and we hope to see you again soon! Park Manager Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure

Good but long queues
Jun 2021 • Family
There are some great facilities here like the splash pad, theatre and high ropes. My older niece and nephew loved the high ropes and my daughter loved the splash pad! Unfortunately, we queued for 20 mins to book the splash pad and had only 20 mind inside. Queues for the indoor soft play were horrendous so we didn't bother. Queued 45 minutes for an ice cream and an hour for the high ropes. We did get a walk through the (somewhat dated) dinosaur trail. I understand queues but I feel they could be avoided, why not book the additional experiences with your ticket? Less queuing, and a fairer system. Overall we enjoyed it but I did think it was overpriced for what we did.

Dear tanya3993, Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback and comments after your recent visit – we are glad you and your family enjoyed our attractions! We apologise if you experienced some queues when you visited. Due to the warm weather and Half Term break, we were sold out of our reduced capacity ticket allocation on the majority of days. This saw a high demand for attractions such as Predator High Ropes, Dippy’s Splash Zone, Dinomite Indoor Adventure Play Area etc. We conducted a survey ahead of our re-opening in relation to booking of attractions and while some were in favour of an online system, the majority felt our systems worked well in 2020 and we have tweaked them this year in terms of Predator High Ropes and Dinomite Indoor Adventure Play with no pre-bookable time slots. We feel this is fairer for everyone and will allow people to use the attractions at a time that suits them. We communicate that when it is busy, there is no guarantee that guests will be able to get on every attraction, but we do our best to ensure this does not happen. We hope this helps and hope to see you again soon. Park Manager Roarr! DInosaur Adventure

Great family day out.
May 2021 • Family
We had a brilliant day today with our dino-loving 4yo and 9mo, despite the heavy rain showers. Lots of people gave up by about 3pm so we qere practically the only ones there, despite lots of sheltered spots like covered picnic areas, excavation pit and underneath the larger dinosaurs! I imagine it would be rammed peak summer though.

The timed indoor play session was well organised and covid safe, but 50+ buggies queuing in the rain wasn't great. I was glad we took packed lunches as the only food stall open was ridiculously busy and slow, although I didn't think too expensive. The queuing should improve next week when more opens up. There were a couple of things still closed for Covid but it didn't detract from the overall experience, but it was clear from the map which things were available, and the one way routes worked well.

I think £15pp was pretty reasonable, but thought charging the same for a 4 year old as an adult was a bit cheeky. Staggered pricing for under 5s would be better. We will definitely visit again though!

Dear amberc873, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a ROARR-some 5-star review of your recent experience with us. We really appreciate you visiting us, especially when the weather conditions were not too kind to you and your family. We have plenty of indoor spaces, with even more now open with the latest government roadmap update. We do have a restriction on our capacity as well. We are glad you enjoyed and felt safe inside Dinomite Indoor Adventure Play. Due to the enhanced track and trace we are required to adhere to, we have to adopt a socially distanced queuing system before guests can enter inside the soft play area. We apologise that you had to queue in the rain for this. Thanks for your feedback on our park map – which we spend a lot of time working on – to ensure guests know exactly what to expect when visiting. This is also reflected on our website, social media pages and park app. We operate a height based admission policy for our admission tickets, which is based on the overall guest experience and enjoyment on offer at the park. Of course, we will take on board your feedback as we continually strive to improve all aspects of our guest experience. Park Manager Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure

Great day for the little ones.
Apr 2021 • Family
Great day out for the children, we took our 5 year old daughter, so much to do and after running around for at least 3 hours it didn’t take her too long to fall asleep on the way home! Plenty of play areas, picnic areas, woodland walks, gift shop and of course DINOSAURS!
