3 nearby caves worth a quick look. Two of them have inside ponds - not huge caves at all and the middle cave has very steep steps. Takes about an hour to see all 3.

Three caves in the center of Ereğli. Entrance fee is 5 TL per person. I liked the pond inside Cehennemağzı. There are info tables in English to read about their history.

there are 3 caves and second one is more fascinating with a tight entrance and small pool inside. The other two caves are important for being used as a church by first christians communities in Anatolia. Caves are just walking distance from city center.
