We made a short half n hour min stop to this pillar, which is supposedly from greek time around 140 BC . For history lovers this place is must watch which provide beautiful history of 140 BC.

About 4 kilometers from Vidisha, near Udaigiri caves, not well maintained, but OK to visit due to historical significanca, Heliodorus a Greek embassador to king of Vidisha after learning about Vishnu-purana, was tempted to put up this pillar, needs about half hour to visit,

We were here about 20 min to see the pillar from supposedly 140 BC erected by Greek ambassador of the period. interesting historical connections.
