The museum is located in the heart of the city. The artefacts are worth seeing. It is located in 3 huge rooms as well in garden. MP state government or ASI should take care of heritage.

Vidisha city has a great historical significance due to relation with Ashoka. The District museum also has monuments of that period which becomes a historical heaven.

We spent about an hour at this little museum-- in the outdoor garden and inside the actual building. Some beautiful carvings, statues, photos, and info. Highly recommended!

Wow! what a collection of various sculptures found around Vidisha. You are greeted by a giant kubera. The museum building can do with some restoration!
