This place used to be a “hidden gem” as some have called it but now it’s just rammed with disrespectful people who don’t take their rubbish away and urinate in the river and field. It’s shocking how badly people are treating this land and how...More

This used to be such a beautiful place. Unfortunately it has become overun with mindless vandals who have no consideration for the environment, wildlife or their fellow man. It is now in new ownership and in all probability will be made inaccessible as the public...More

Used to go here growing up and am shocked at how the place has been ruined. Took my two kids there for a swim. There is litter everywhere, gangs of youths smoking dope and the whole area stinks of urine

This is a slice of grassy land between two rivers with a weir at one end and good swimming spots dotted around. You should park up on the main road as trying to drive down Ferry Lane is tricky, one way and narrow. Anyway it’s...More

Lovely beautiful place but we had to go, we were with my children ages 5 and 3 and absolutely crammed with uni students. Most were fine but some were smoking weed. Not the kind of environment I want my children in. Not really a family...More

This was my first time here . We all loved it . Free fun day for everyone. Swimming in the wild . Best to bring a picnic with you and remember to take all your rubbish away. Don’t ruined it such a little treasure x

This once beautiful spot has now been trashed by hoards of visitors being disrespectful. A mountain of trash has been left where there are no rubbish collections and now in danger of becoming a serious public health hazard. Thanks for that.

A number of people have reported sickness after swimming in various locations. If you do swim you must be careful not to swallow any water.
