We are an expanding company run by two outdoor enthusiast based in Avon Valley Country and Wildlife Park, between Bath and Bristol UK. Whether you are a stag do or hen do, corporate event or a group of friends and family looking for something new and unique; Battle Archery® may just be what you're looking for!! Battle Archery® is a new and exciting game that combines paintballing and archery to create a fun game that requires quick movement and tactical know-how. With bows and foam-tipped safety arrows, this exciting action-packed game offers multiple mission scenarios and the ultimate archery experience! Who Will You Battle? "Dodge, Shoot, Repeat!" Not looking to run around shooting each other? We also do Aerial Archery - Clay Pigeon Shooting, but with our bows and foam tipped arrows. Adding in a few challenges to increase your primordial hunting instinct. Will you be number one? Soon to be added this Spring: Tactical Archery - Challenge yourself in this adaptation of Field Archery and score the most points to become the ultimate archer. Safe Archery - For Kids between 7-10 years of age, we will teach your kids how to shoot with our Junior Bows and safe arrows in a challenging shooting gallery scenario.

We had a two hour axe throwing session - it was great fun. Jason organised us, showed us what to do and gave us little competitions to do. Would happily go back for another go.

Took the kids for birthday .. whole session just the two of them , Sam was very good with my son who has needs , patient and made them laugh will be booking archery again

We were gifted a paddleboarding experience with UK Active Outdoors for Christmas and finally got around to using it this September, and had an amazing time!
The instructor was really friendly and helpful, the equipment easy to use and the river was beautiful. We had so much fun learning to paddleboard and didn't fall into the water anywhere near as much as I thought we would. We also saw some local wildlife and enjoyed the peaceful scenery.
We now have our ready to ride cards and will definitely be back to paddleboard on our own!

The SUP lesson was well organised and Sam gave clear guidance on how to start paddle-boarding. He is also very knowledgeable about the wildlife living around the river

Not sure what I was expecting but it was a glorious hot day (in fact that was indeed summer 2023), I was the only one but it was great fun. Highly recommend throwing a load of dangerous items at a wooden board and luckily the instructor was very patient as I wasn't really a natural!
Got to throw a few different items including an axe or 2, and in different ways, very different by me on some occasions and no where near the target. Easy facility to find, lots of other things going on on the complex and would definitely recommend as a team building event or such like.

Husband and I had a fab time, weather helped too. Instructor was brill and we both learnt a lot from him being novices. Had great fun and feel a lot more confident now. Do take a towel !

Myself and my 14 year old daughter had a fantastic time learning to Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) on the River Avon. After changing into wetsuits and buoyancy aids plus a safety briefing we were on the River. My daughter loved it and attempted every challenge with gusto. She enjoyed trying to do a 'Hang 10' and falling in the water multiple times!!
In my case, as a 43 year old women who doesn't exercise much, I initially found it disorientating to stand up on the board The instructor was very reassuring and by the end of the session I was Paddling with confidence along the river.
Expert tuition by Simon, lots of fun and lovely and calm on the River watching the boats pass by. I'd highly recommend anyone to try this, but especially if you have a teenager looking for a new adventure and some fun.
A tip: take a change of shoes and socks as they will get wet!!
