Had a Fantastic day spent with Drew Buckley yesterday on one of his one to one workshops. I definitely felt like my images were lacking something to make them stand out and this course definitely answered all my questions, still haven't stopped smiling yet, The knowledge and professional skills i came away with were mind blowing, From simple camera setup to the complete layout and location for the perfect shot and all delivered at a nice relaxing pace. Highly Recommended

Excellent day out with Drew who provided a wealth of information from camera settings to techniques and tips to capture puffins in flight. Highly recommend attending one of Drew’s courses.

I attended one of Drew’s Skomer workshops and had a great time. Drew was so knowledgeable regarding my equipment and gave me some excellent advice.
He explained everything clearly and was always on hand to help and answer any questions I had.
Drew’s knowledge of Skomer and photographing puffins is second to none.
I’d highly recommend attending any of Drew’s workshops.

Excellent day. As an amateur looking for guidance with opportunity Skomer island with Drew was the ultimate pairing. Fantastic photo opportunities with expert advice and guidance from a thoroughly competent and helpful guide. Highly recommended.

This was the second workshop I have done with Drew. For years I have wanted to photograph the puffins on Skomer and this year I finally got a chance to do it, and who better to do it with than Drew Buckley! He has expert knowledge of the area and the wildlife and is a master of all the technical aspects of photography too. Drew took the time with each member of our small group to advise on camera settings and composition. The pace was easy going and we all had plenty of time to spend practising our new skills. I have previously struggled to get any decent pictures of birds in flight but have grown in confidence after this excellent workshop and came home with many shots that I am very happy with.
All in all a really fun day in great company. I cannot recommend Drew highly enough...

Amazing day on Skomer Island with Drew Buckley. Very informative and friendly but lots of tuition and I learnt things about my camera I never knew. Got some amazing pictures and had a brilliant day. Would highly recommend.

Excellent day meeting great people and learning new skills. Drew made the difficult seem easy and after a while it did start to click, photographing Puffins in flight is not easy…they’re like little bullets and need to be to out wit the waiting gulls. Drew was patient and encouraging, as he was with all of the course members…a great guy who is fun to be with and very knowledgeable about nature and photography. There was a wide range of photographic experience and equipment on the course, all of which Drew handled with ease. Would definitely recommend Drew to anyone needing add a little extra to their skills.

I thoroughly enjoyed my half day 1:1 workshop with Drew. He picked a beautiful location and we were very lucky with the weather, that it gave us plenty of chance for support with getting to know my camera and getting to grips with composition and shooting moving objects. There was ample time for practising and for Drew to give further tips. It has definitely given me energy for photography again- highly highly recommend!

I spent one and a half days with this super gentleman, Drew is so easy to get on with and within an hour it was like I had known him for years. His intimate knowledge of the area was first class and he chose locations that were beautiful and varied which allowed me to really challenge my photography skills. The pace and detail of his instruction was perfect from a composition and technical standpoint. I have been on a number of workshops which has really structured my photography but what Drew showed me was something new, his agility and freedom around the camera and the dials was so refreshing and fun, I now feel so much more confident in letting loose and exploring what I can do with my camera and cant wait to put it into practice. We had some really challenging conditions but at all times my safety and wellbeing was obviously at the front of Drews mind and he still found tons of great photographic opportunities. This really was great value for money and I had such a great time I have booked my next session already - Drew you are a superstar !
