We decided on family trip to Port Lympne to see the good works they undertake with rare and diminishing wild animals. Their charity status resulted in requests for gift aid on entrance and loaded prices when seeking refreshments. Sadly most of the animals must've been nocturnal as we only managed to see one sad looking tiger pacing to and fro'... More

I booked Livingstone Cottage which is situated in the middle of the safari park for my husband 60th birthday surprise in February. We met our ranger Dave and had our first private safari he was knowledgeable and great at explaining everything about the animals we came across on our safari, with the private safari you do stop at the enclosures... I came to Porte Lympne with my partner and two children on Saturday (yesterday), we have been to Howletts and to other days out here and there, however, I haven't been to Porte Lympe for maybe 14 years, not since I had children, so this was their first time (they are 10 and 12). We were all excited and I... More

Lovely day out for all ages. Safari ride was brilliant, even done it twice to get more great pictures. How often do you get to drive so close to Giraffe on a normal day. Didnt see all the animals out throughout the whole park but then didnt expect to as i am sure i wouldnt want to be paraded about... More

I understand that Port Lympne is not like a zoo but all day we found it really difficult to see the animals. The safari truck ride was good in theory but again dependent on spotting the animals. It was very bumpy which was to be expected but it would have been nice if the truck could have stopped a few... More

My husband and I visited Port Lympne reserve with our 12 year old daughter this weekend. We found the park geared towards those wanting to take the time to view animals - with enclosures created for their wellbeing, not on demand of visitors. Some parts of the park are now dated, whilst improvements are clearly underway. Our visit was primarily... More

This was a surprise from my daughter for my birthday. I absolutely loved every minute of the visit. It is one of the best places I have visited and stayed at, it was so peaceful and amazing scenery. Both our ranger guide David and our host Holly were lovely, very friendly and easy to get on with and David was... More

I came hear with my husband about 10 years ago, so was looking forward to returning as a family with are little boy. It was ok lots of empty enclosures and missed the animals they no longer have like the Elephants and Meerkats. He did enjoy the dinosaur part. We are just pleased we got a offer price as makes...
