Very friendly club - excellent course
Feb 2020
My wife and I (handicaps 13 and 26) played Kuils River and found it delightful. There is some water, trees and some quite challenging holes. It's long but the dog legs, bunkers and water keep you honest. It was in very good condition in February and the spike bar is really smart. We'll be back next year.

Golf at kuils river GC
Jan 2019 • Friends
Nice eighteen hole course on the Cape Peninsula near Cape Town. Very tight and testy, especially with the stiff southeaster in the afternoon. Friendly staff and sound clubhouse facilities.

Will definitely visit again. Well recommended.

Awseome place to relax if going with spouse who is playing golf. Place is green and beautiful.

18 holes with tee off from 1 and 10.. Whether you are travelling from the northern or southern suburbs your destination will be well worth your drive.

Dangerous Place for Golf!
Mar 2015
A 3-ball behind us, who left the halfway house too early in starting the back 9 and were too close behind us, fired a drive from one of the tees over our heads, which hit one of the many electricity pylons on the course; the ball slammed down near to us.

We remonstrated from a distance, but they failed to acknowledge their dangerous play. Next hole, we were on the green when, from around 180 metres, a ball screamed in, just missing us by centimetres and shot 20 metres through the green. Could have easily killed one of us.

We waited on the next tee for the 3-ball to complete the previous hole and to call them through, as we wanted to leave the course in our car rather than in an ambulance (or hearse).

We complained about their extremely dangerous play; their response was, that as they considered us to be holding them up, they would fire a ball at us to move us on. Utterly appalling, thuggish play, bordering on criminal!

We would never play there again. If these were members (we don't know) then the club should be doing all in its power to show them the door. They should never be allowed on a golf course again!

The course was otherwise nicely laid out with a number of interesting holes and strategic water features. Unfortunately, we won't be back.

Parcours intéressant. Simple mais très bien entretenu. Green fee raisonnable.
Kuilsriver Golf Club was founded in June 1982 and is built on part of the old Hazendal Chateau farm, situated on the edge of the Cape’s winelands, the vineyards forming the backdrop to a number of well laid out fairways and greens. It is a par 72 course with several beautiful water features attracting an amazing selection of bird life. The greens are playable throughout the year due to the good drainage. Our well stocked Pro Shop offers a wide range of golf equipment.
