We are a family of 14 paxs (age ranges from 7 - 75) and we had an excellent time there. We all went water rafting, caving, jungle trekking. The guides were very good and always emphasize about safety. My 75 yr old mum was really thrilled to bits with the white water rafting & caving. Our 7 yr old nephew had a great time riding on the open air lorry which took us from place to place, not forgetting the white water rafting, caving and jungle trekking. For most of us, it was a jolly good experience.
The food was delicious (they have excellent chefs) and even the orange juice for breakfast was freshly squeezed, unlike hotels. Kuddos to the chef.
Do not expect any luxury as this is a for those who enjoy outdoors activities as there is so much to do outdoors. Rooms are just with the basic necessities hot water and air-cond.
My sons and their uncles even went for night fishing at a river 20 mins walk down the road, and caught some fishes.
All of us had an excellent time and thanks to Lucas and Arvin, who have been making our staying comfortable. The staff are all very friendly too.

Eco adventure resort, great with the hospitality services , foods and all activities. Im so excited when see this great place in gopeng through internet. The white water rafting is just awesome, another amazing activity is the waterfall abseiling I will suggest to try out the paintball, gua tempurung and also the jungle trekking. Will come back again for my company team building. I love MY GOPENG RESORT.

They have everything nature surrounding, river flowing within resort and few small lake but murky water. I like the fresh air as it is Gopeng Jungle.
This resort location can consider best located within 2 minutes walk to Razila the White Water Rafting Start point.
I stay with my Team of 10 persons in dormitory style as we are on a mission the next day. A bit run down unit and located next to the main toilet, seems some leakages and foul smell looming.
Overall is alright but this type of accommodation are really meant not for luxury stay, more suitable for adventure teambuilding activities stay...rough it out.

My sister had recently had a trip to My Gopeng Resort for a national camping trip. She decided to tell me what had happened at My Gopeng Resort. And this is what she said.
The activities at My Gopeng Resort would truly have encouraged people to go there as its activities are very nature based and there is also a lot of activities and obstacles for team building activities. However, the quality and service of the place wasn't too good.
There were bugs all over the place. Even in the FOOD and drinks. The plates and cups were not washed properly and you could smell the remains of the previous meal. The dorms were also really run-down. There wasn't an air-conditioner in the dorm and we payed twice the amount the other campers had paid. Bugs such as beetles and leeches could be found in the rooms as well as toilets. The toilets were not lighted and it was dangerous to go at night as there were only girls.
It was too hard to bath and the toilets were not cleaned properly. It was very hot at night as there were only 4 fans and the dorm was very big. It was very uncomfortable and you could see little insects climbing up on you at anytime. None of us bathed for 3 days due to the uncomfortable toilets.
I would not want to go back to the place anymore. The activities are OK and quite interesting to do. However, the quality isn't too good.

When we arrived there was no welcome and although there was a water dispenser, we had to hunt for the cups. The briefing was amateurish. Health and safety was OK but be warned that there is real potential for injury on this trip. After we had finished the rafting we were kept waiting an hour in wet clothes to be taken back.

Stayed here for our company's teambuilding trip. MGR trully is a great place to escape city life and just enjoy the nature, get loads of fresh air, and Durians!! If you want some adventures, white water rafting is just nearby and maybe caving in Gua Tempurung.

It was great experience getting away from the hustling and bustling of the city centre to this place to relax and have fun. Activities available are whitewater rafting and jungle trekking. The guides are all very friendly and detailed in their briefing. If it’s your first time rafting, don’t worry, they’re experts and very watchful over their team. For night jungle trekking, very highly advisable to be fully clothed, trekking shoes, torch light and mosquito/leech repellent spray if you want to get out unharmed. Lolx. Be ready but most importantly, have fun!

This place is amazing! I was reluctant to stay there at the beginning because it is not a hotel, but I quickly get used to it.
This place is like a jungle village camp kind of resort. It was not something I can experience in city. The temperature in the jungle is colder than city and I didn't turn on the aircond. We went visiting the waterfall, hiking, and rafting. I skipped the paintball because 2 days are not enough to complete all the activities.
It's very tiring, but it's a memorable trip.

We went there for a family gathering. Kids as young as 1yr to senior citizen can enjoy this place. Activities involved are water rafting, waterfall absailing, jungle night walk etc. The foods served are very yummy, frm breakfast till dinner... two thumbs up for their chefs.

We are a group of middle to senior age between 47 to 67, some non swimmers. Is Gopeng white water rafting save for us? Will there be any capsized of tbe raft?
