Beautiful complex with Venetian villa, other structures, romantic garden, etc. the highlight of the visit was a tour guide who was not just extremely professional, knowledgeable and articulate, but also took her time to translate in English even though this was supposed to be an Italian language group.

I was here in December 2021 and the only way to visit was to phone ahead and book. Whether compulsory bookings are due to COVID restrictions or simply that's how the villa is always run, I don't know.
Anyway, even from outside the building is spectacular!

A magnificent villa, with a real history, and quite accessible to visitors by guided tour. Some spectacular details - Palladio, painting, spectacular rooms. Still lots of repair and restoration needed, but what is there is more than sufficient. You need a car to get there, though.

I drove 20 miles to see this building. It is very nice from outside but they would not let me in. Pointless.

We found this by accident while we were looking for where Andrea Mantegna was born. It is a splendid place to visit and a tour of the villa will cost you 7 euros and you can stay on in the park and have a picnic if you so wish. The tour lasting almost an hour is well worth the effort and there are some beautiful rooms in the villa to see - original auditorium is just one. Watch out for the frescoes by a local artist Michele Primon and the villa abounds with truly magnificent sculptures all around the facade and in the gardens.
The Villa is open to the public every day from 9.00am until 7.00pm except Wednesdays during the sumer months.

I know the Villa like it was my own home and always a pleasure to re visit it. Weekends the massive park with lake is open. Get the guided tour definitely worth it.

It is one of the most amaizing palaces I ever saw. It is a combination of baroque and 19th century, very good preserved. The villa can be visited only with a guide, but the price is very low (7 euro), you just have to check the hours. The guide is totally worth it. When I visited there were no other tourists so I had like a private tour.
Unfortunatelly if you dont have a car I dont know how anybody can reach since is in the middle of nowhere, in a small village close to Padova and/or Venice. In the area are a lot of villas worth visiting as well.
There is also a nice park, so take a couple of hours for the visit.

We arrived and were greeted by two very helpful members of staff. The next guided tour was in an hour and as it was a beautiful day they suggested we took a stroll in the park. The park is so relaxing and beautiful especially near the lake. They were taking the gondola out for the fist time. The guided tour was so interesting that I felt a bit sad when it ended

We visit the city of Piazzola almost every month for the antique market. The setting is awesome for this big market. If you're wanting to have a quiet tour of the grounds don't go the last Sunday of the month - the antique market is in full swing. Definitely a nice visit while in the Vicenza area.

This is a well preserved grand palazzo well worth a visit.
The gardens are particularly magnificent and grand .
The villa was built in the 1500s in a Baroque style.
It is the backdrop for the antique market held in Piazzola the last sunday of every month.

I have two questions, please: 1) how do purchase a ticket to the villa and know the schedule of the guided tours (we plan to visit the villa sometime at the end of January). 2) How do I reach the villa by public transportation from Venice please?

Buongiorno e buon pranzo a tutti/e voi..........sono curiosa di sapere una cosa, nel caso io organizzi un banchetto di nozze con sole 25 persone, quanto mi verrebbe a costare ?
Ho anche una sala preferita: le conchiglie ;).
Presumo però sia troppo grande per un gruppo di persone "piccolo".......d' altronde non amo i pranzi di nozze con troppe persone; e magari con metà di loro non ho un legame forte.
Preferisco avere a fianco solo ed esclusivamente le persone alle quali voglio un gran bene,che contano nella mia vita e che hanno sempre approvato o quasi la storia che ho da 9 anni con mio moroso.
Non so se questo tipo di risposte le potete dare qui o tramite mail o cellulare.
Resto in attesa di un vostra risposta.
