We had a really poor experience with a member of staff which really spoilt things for us. Shame as such a nice place with good reviews. It’s free to be polite and have good customer service, if this isn’t the year to be kind I don’t know when is.

The experience was certainly good, we enjoyed the lighting of the forest and the great ambient of the place. The disappointment came when tried to reschedule this due to an unforeseen delay and no concession could be made by the owner as he claims to be. I had to chase this all day via emails and via calls where one member showed flexibility and the owner didn’t shouting on the phone that he doesn’t care I will lose £40 worth of tickets, either I honour my booking or I lose the money. Despite this rude behaviour from the owner’s side, I enjoyed coming to the Magical Woodland.

Had an amazing 30 minute Archery and 30 minute Air Rifle session with Daniel. We loved it. Daniel was amazing and we absolutely adored his South African accent :). There was no other people there due to the pandemic but it was better in a way Daniel's encouragement was contagious and we all had an incredible time. I was better at the Air Rifling then the Archery but loved both activities equally. Although it was raining, we were undercover so it didn't impact the activities. Also, you can save your targets after Air rifling which we did. my sister surprised us all by being fabulous at both Archery and the Air Rifling. Definitely something we’d love to do again. Highly recommend coming here to try this experience. I would recommend wearing sensible footwear and also going with a group of friends.

We did the 30min archery and then the 30min shooting with Daniel and we absolutely loved it. He clearly loves his job and is very knowledgeable, his tips and encouragement made us improve in both activities. Although it was raining, we were undercover so it was no issue at all. The time went so quickly but it was such fun. Definitely something we’d love to do again.

The only negative I have is that it was over too soon! It was a 30 min Archery session with me and my partner. The instructor gave a brief tutorial on how to use the bow and arrow and safety instructions. The instructor was super friendly, chatty and kept everyone smiling throughout as we were shooting. He played games with us and tried to get us to shoot as close to the middle as we could and encouraged competition between each other but even if you missed he was so happy to give tips on how to get it on target for the next shot. I’d higher recommend this activity for anyone looking to go. It was £12 pp and took about 10 mins from arrival to actually commencing the activity.
