Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A town with a proud history of its people, being the first magical town in Mexico. It is a quiet tour with family and friends, you can go to the Basaltic Prisms to spend a few very pleasant hours, the place is very beautiful, and also learn anecdotes about the goblins in the museum of the same name. There is no doubt that it is a town where you disconnect and free yourself from everyday life by clearing your mind. I recommend it 100.

An enjoyable, but not fabulous, pueblo magico. The town square is overcrowded with merchant stalls selling ceramic souvenirs and dimly lit restaurants. Best to spend most of your time in the areas surrounding Huasca.

We were horribly disappointed with many things at the Hacienda San Miguel Regla hotel but our Saturday at the market in Huasca more than made up for it. We encountered all the flavors and color of real Mexico, including the little old lady trying to get us to eat fried insects (chapulines). Most vendors were very friendly and honest with their prices, we had only one negative moment when trying to buy a plantar and pots. The food and drink was amazing and the prices were nothing compared to Mexico City. The voladores de Papantla performed and we got to also see a procession of churros. It felt like we had gone back in time about a hundred years and didn't even miss not having our smart phones with us. I highly recommend this as a must see when you are in the area and if you are smart you will stay away from the rip off smug people and horrible service at Hacienda San Miguel Regla,

Huasca is a small town with a unique character. This can be seen in the cobblestone streets, to the street vendors, plaza and church. Thee aroma of bread, tlacoyos, tacos, quesadillas and other food seems to be everywhere.
Depending on arrival time, street parking is difficult and what is recommended is to pay one of the residents a small fee for parking at their home, which is a common occurrence.
Would recommend a trip earlier in the day due to crowds.

This town is very pretty. It has the classic Mexican mountain town style.
People are friendly and there are a few things to do. Stores and some small restaurants and also rustic hotels.
Just be careful when you go, most of the days in the week.. there isn't much to do. On the Weekends is when the town comes alive with the markets opening.

We Went quickly through while visiting also the Prismas, Real del MOnte and Bosque de Truchos. It was far to Quick. this city is so cute you really do want to spend a ´whole day Walking around and also stay to eat in some of the small restuarant. Very quiet Town and with plenty of walks around. If I could go back I would stay one night here and then one in Real del MOnte also.

Pachuca Ocampo, Huasca is a very nice, picturesque, friendly, and quiet people, its surroundings as Peña del Aire, basaltic prisms, hacienda de San Miguel, very nice rule, more and more lodging offer of all prices, also at Easter, chaos everywhere you look, but we will return but to sleep in this magical town. Colorful everywhere you look and with a wide gastronomic offer and adventure tourism, you can eat delicious pastes, buy cheap and delicious nuts, the town is daytime and I love that, at 11pm it is quiet, ideal to rest, the stray dogs are friendly and well kept, it's nice to see them

Huasca de Ocampo is a beautiful city of the Central State of Hidalgo. In this city, you can do a lot of things. For example, you can go to visit the Zembo Forest; it is a great idea if you want to get away from the city and have contact with nature. There is also delicious food, such as Pastes, Cecina, Barbacoa and many more. So, if you want to spend an unforgettable vacation with your family or friends, Huasca de Ocampo is a perfect idea.

Huasca is a charming little town. Even though there is not much do, walking around the first pueblo magico in Mexico is a nice experience. Make sure to visit the local artisans, market and try some of the local flavors.
