We arrived more than one hour before the tour starts. We had lunch in a beautiful terrace viewing the coffee plantation, just perfect. Mind that the place doesn't have a bar or restaurant but if you arrange in advance, they can provide lunch for groups....More

Within our group, we had the hard-core and the not-at-all coffee enthusiasts and we all enjoyed the coffee tour in Naranjo. Coffee beans had already been harvested months before we arrived in Costa Rica, nonetheless the tour was excellent in taking us through the whole...More

We were the only people on the tour on a March afternoon so it was very personalized. It was interesting to learn about the coffee growing and harvesting process and to sample Costa Rican coffee.

We came here on a cruise port excursion and really had a great time. The guide showed us the beans, allowed us to eat the coffee fruit, demonstrated roasting and brewing the beans. Coffee was available for sale in their gift shop. Everyone was very...More

This brief, 40 minute, tour was excellent. Our guide, a former bean picker, was young, confident, knowledgeable, and a pleasure. Without specifically him the tour would not be as good. We learned the complete process from growing to preparing to drinking. Highly recommend

I was just there and they definitely have ample room to do a lunch. We were there with a group of 23 but it was a late group (after lunch and before dinner) so we didn't ask about meals. I did, however, talk with them and... More

Yes, there are. I don't remember the exact amount but I think it was around $20-$25 per person? It was definitely worth it for the amount of time they spent with us. You should figure in a tip for the tour guide as well.
