Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were given an incredibly warm welcome and within 30 minutes of arriving I felt like one of the family. As we strolled around the grounds we were given a fascinating introduction to the history of wine making here and in the UK. Afterwards we headed to the bar / restaurant where we had further samples of delicious wines paired with local cuisine. Incredible, I look forward to returning later in the year to sample the Pinot! Thank you Tim, Chris, Bev and family.

Twenty of us visited from a hotel boat moored at Stourport. An initial introductory talk followed by a walk through the vine fields. A sampling of their sparkling wine (generous samples). A short walk back to the wine production building. This was followed by a talk about different wines and a further three samples of different wines. During this time a cheese and cold meat buffet was available. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. An ideal venue for groups.

From the moment we arrived to the second we had left we were greeted with kindness and open arms! What a beautiful experience! It was wonderful to hear about the history of the Vineyard and the beautiful wine was an added bonus!! The schedule of the visit was perfect and as a family run business they made our visit incredibly special! Thank you very much!

We have just returned from an evening of tasting wines from northern Italy.
We tasted a variety of wines including a Prosecco, Pinot Grigio, pino Blanco, Soave and a red. All had been sourced by Chris, inspired by a road trip he took in 2019.
The evening was relaxed and very informative.
There were Italian inspired nibbles to accompany the tasting.
The group was small and friendly, enabling everyone to participate.
A great time was had by all.
I would highly recommend an evening here for anyone who is interested in wines, or just likes tasting something slightly different.

A brilliant way to spend an afternoon. The team at the vineyard are so enthusiastic and passionate about what they do, and they produce some gorgeous wines!
Very friendly atmosphere, very knowledgeable and very interesting to listen to and to see how they produce their excellent wines. The tasting session is informative and delicious!!
Thank you so much, I recommend the tour and the wine!

I came here in the summer with a group for a tour of the vineyard. In spite of wet weather we had an enjoyable time. The vineyard is not huge but there is managed woodland to walk through on the way to the vines and care is taken to support the resident wildlife. We saw the vines and also saw where the wine was made.
Of course we tasted the wine and bought some. I brought out the wine I had purchased over the Christmas period and found it to be fabulous. I had tasted it with cheese and we had it with cheese at home but it went equally well with mince pies. It was so good that I went back for more one cold January Sunday.
The shop is open at weekends in winter but you have to ring a bell to summon someone to help you. Be patient it takes a few minutes for someone to get there. Perhaps if you are certain you want more wine it might be a good idea to let them know in advance.
The most important thing is the wine in the bottle but I do like the way the bottles are presented. The labels are stylish and the bottles look good if you are going to give them away as gifts.
On the way home we called in at Broomfields the farm shop where the wine I had just purchased was on sale for a pound or so more. If you are wanting quite a few bottles it might be an idea to get them straight from the vineyard.
Astley vineyard is worth a visit but if you cannot easily make it to Astley if you see the wine in a shop buy some I would be surprised if you would be disappointed. The wine is a little bit more expensive than some wines you see and that is because it is not made in vast quantities. It is special wine and I think of it as a treat.

Ir took nearly two years to redeem our voucher and we wasn't disappointed the whole team oozed professionalism and clearly enjoyed welcoming us and other vineyard guests and our expectations were exceeded the team clearly were passionate about their vineyards and at no time did you feel obliged to purchase the tasted products. The tour was full of interaction and knowledge.we really enjoyed our experience

Considering the size of this family owned and run vineyard, it produces some of the best English white wines that I have ever tasted. Perhaps I'm biased living in the county myself but the tremendous quality of these wines are in a class of their own and understandably so with the passion, enthusiasm and hard work put into creating these wines. Situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the county, Astley arrange wine tasting experiences that you'll never forget.

What a lovely helpful family. Four of us turned up without prior notice but were given a warm welcome. The lady who gave us a tasting of three wines in the shop was helpful and knowledgeable. Her son showed us the process of the wine making. Avery pleasant experience which all enjoyed especially the French member of our party who had never been to a British vineyard before. Bravo!
