Bressingham is a Charitable Trust preserving Steam Transport of all kinds in a Garden Setting which the whole family can enjoy. The aim of the trust is to provide moving steam powered exhibits full of life rather than a purely static display, so expect some smoke, soot, oil, and working exhibits you can get close too rather than a roped off lifeless collection. The majority of staff have always been volunteers, who graciously give their time for others to enjoy the collection of steam artefacts given by Alan Bloom to the trust.

Visit was okay and family enjoyed trip on train and rides on the Gallopers. Weather not very good and limited our visit to some extent (obviously not their fault). However, I have been before during normal opening days and have enjoyed the range of sights...More

I really enjoyed my day here! There are a few museums to wander around, the gardens are beautiful and you can ride on three different steam trains. Definitely worth a visit!

The most disappointing Christmas experience ...the Steam museum is ,in itself ,excellent but other than the 'extra ' staff on hand for the Christmas period ,the regular staff were bad tempered ,unfriendly and very unwelcoming...we were a family with two youngsters... it is one of...More

Primary reason for our visit was the Steam museum. There are some great static displays of Carriages and Engines plus a Signal Box which was fascinating to go into. There are 3 narrow gauge lines and steam engines which we thoroughly enjoyed travelling on around...More

Visited here for the first time on a warm October day. Pleasantly surprised at the whole area geared towards family’s and steam engine enthusiasts. The gardens even in mid October were still very colourful and the displays of a bygone era were impressive. The walks...More

This is always a lovely place to visit and walk around the museum to see the many stem exhibits, some in steam. Ideal for children who want the rides and roundabouts. Lots of walking in the gardens and many exhibits, including "Dad's Army" with vehicles...More

I visited here after wanting to see the gardens for years. I'm a keen gardener and can remember growing up watching these famous island bed gardens on gardeners world. So while on holiday in Suffolk during Autumn decided to drive up to Diss and visit....More
