Bressingham is a Charitable Trust preserving Steam Transport of all kinds...

Bressingham is a Charitable Trust preserving Steam Transport of all kinds in a Garden Setting which the whole family can enjoy.

The aim of the trust is to provide moving steam powered exhibits full of life rather than a purely static display, so expect some smoke, soot, oil, and working exhibits you can get close too rather than a roped off lifeless collection.

The majority of staff have always been volunteers, who graciously give their time for others to enjoy the collection of steam artefacts given by Alan Bloom to the trust.

Having selected Bressingham as the venue to redeem a Steam train ride Gift experience we arrived early to make the best use of our day. The Gardens Huge and well maintained, we spent a pleasant while wandering around the full extent of the grounds. The trains 2 narrow gauge lines were in operation. One around the gardens, the other around... More

As a family overly familiar with the antics of Thomas and his friends a day out with real steam trains was a joy. Two little boys had a fabulous time going on the different trains, the gallopers and looking around the train sheds. From a parents point of view it was clean and tidy, with reasonably priced food and drinks,... More

The gardens are stunning we were amazed at how well kept they were with such few staff. A wonderful morning out walking around the gardens & exploring the old trains. Loved the Dad's Army exhibition.plenty for small kids. Cafe ok for a tea etc didn't think much of food. Cakes etc did not look apprising.

Peppa Pig weekend great value for money. Got there at 1115hrs had to drag my 3 year old away at 4.30pm. I met Alan Bloom, the founder, many times and he must be well pleased with the way things are going. Don't take my word for it. VISIT TODAY

So I would like to start by saying as myself and my father are steam engine enthusiasts this was a perfect setting and in terms of what it offered was enjoyable. Lovely gardens to walk around. Miniature train rides that are quite long (around 20 min) and so quite enjoyable and go through the grounds. A standard Guage sized railway... More

Food was great by the service was awful. You need someone to manage the food court for you. One employee should be completing the whole service journey per customer. One on food, one cooking, one cleaning up one on food. Just looked really unorganised which is a shame because the food is great. The young man that brought our pies... More

Prior to the visit I read some reviews on Trip Advisor and have to admit to some trepidation as a result. however I was determined we should go, so go we... More
