Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were very disappointed to find that this is not actually a village as the advertisements and tourist info purport it to be. Its really just a show house with a few bits of furniture and three women demonstrating weaving techniques underneath. There is a temple with some color wall murals to see as well as some old paper sketches and paintings of scenery.
I wouldn't recommend making a specific journey to this place. Its better to visit as a drop in on a wider tour around with other attractions.
Overall, we have found many attractions in Nan province to be disappointing and over-hyped for what they are, this one included. There is a lot of driving around arduous mountain roads with little to no attractions other than scenery of mountains.

It is true what the reviewers said that it is not a village etc. Still I found it interesting to see the traditional house and the weaving technique. The people were lovely and took us into the house and showed us about the life style and work.

This isn't really a village, just part of Wat Nong Bua. It is basically just a small house where the bottom part is used for weaving and selling some garments.

We were in Tha Wang Pha town on the way to Pua. We stopped for lunch and tried to visit the Thai Lue Village Ban Nong Bua. However what we found wasn't our image of a village. It was more of a single house with the basement utilized as a weaving area and a showroom to sell the weaving product. After searching for the village for a while we gave up and believed the misunderstanding of the attraction may came from the usage of the word 'village' in the name of the attraction.
