Mixed feelings. The park around is a beautiful jungle with a nice trail offering views on undisturbed clear waters and swamp areas which is beautiful indeed. Also the crystal pools itself really are beautiful and if you're lucky enough to not arrive at the same time as a big tourbus it's not too busy. The water is a nice temperature and beautifully clear. But then that's it, there's no place to sit do2n and get changed and the worst is that the entrance fee has doubled overtime, its now 400baht per person whereas locals pay 30. I find that quite ridiculous, also our bags were checked upon arrival for food whereas locals could walk in with food. Lastly to charge a high amount of money for a nature park to me doesn't sit well, the pool is small and waters like this honestly can be seen for free all around the area. Its very overhyped on marketing terms, and to me it wasn't worth the 1.5h drive from krabi

Blue lagoon, emerald pond, and crystal lake are all impressive. So is the entry fee of 400b/adult (40b for Thai). Lots of people can ruin what is a beautiful area. I would recommend going there at opening time to avoid the crowds and the heat. Blue lagoon is worth the extra walk. You can swim in emerald pool. I recommend insect spray as I was eaten alive.

It's a beautiful tourist attraction. The pool was green and very beautiful. Unfortunately it was very crowded, but there was enough space for swimming. We got 50 mins to swim then we went for lunch which was very simple and Some few slices of melon as a dessert. If you are vegetarian just mention.

Fantastic natural fenomenon to watch! Go early and avoid the crowd and heat. Fun to swim in the emerald pool and watch the blue pool (too hot to swim, no swimming allowed) We had no crowds and no heat. A bit of walking, but paths 90% of the way. Wednesday 17th January we visited and swam in this pool with it's warm almost luminous coloured waters. The Pool is located one thousand metres along a nature trail inside the Khao Pra Bang Kharm Wildlife Sanctuary. The pool itself varies from between one to two metres deep it is surrounded by limestone rocks and jungle. It is called Emerald Pool due the colour of the water which is caused by it's high limestone and mineral content. We enjoyed the experience of bobbing around in the water talking to other bathers, complete strangers, there was a real happy mood in the pool. After our swim we dried off in the sunshine sitting on our towels. Do take care when getting in and out of the Pool, the limestone rocks were rather slippery underfoot in places, our Guide showed us the safest entry points. Not sure if there were any health benefits to swimming in the pool, apart from being a bit of fun in warm water. Would definitely recommend wearing bathing shoes when swimming here.

It was ok, very busy and crowded. 400 Bhat each to get in and after an hour or so in the Emerald Pool you’re pretty much done. The other pools and for viewing only and for us it was nice but that’s about it, wouldn’t go back or highly recommend.

Wow. Just wow. This place is a hidden gem. We rode our bike from Ao Nang, a 1.5-hour trip, but the journey was fabulous. The road was so pleasant that it made the ride truly enjoyable. When we arrived, we purchased a ticket for 400 baht and embarked on a 1 km hike through lush greenery. Reaching the Emerald Pool was magical. We took a dip, swam, and took pictures. About 600 meters from the Emerald Pool is the Blue Pool, which is breathtaking, although swimming is not allowed.
