Wat Suwannakhuna is often called the Monkey Temple or the Golden Cave and it is about 10 minutes before Phang Nga. The monkeys are a bit savage here due to the busloads of naive tourists who are feeding them. Once inside the cave for some...More

Such a beautiful place! Gorgeous cave with some really amazing photography opportunities. Side note; the monkeys can be very aggressive and will absolutely bite you. I was bitten after a kid threw peanuts everywhere. They absolutely swarmed. 40 minutes is plenty of time to see...More

This was our stop on James Bond island tour. Ugly, agressive monkeys, annoying sellers, Buddha cave is for 5 minutes. Really nothing special to see.

We visited the Monkey Cave during our Phang Nga Sea Canoe Tour. This was an awesome experience feeding the monkeys and watching them run all around. Be careful to NEVER take food from them, only give food to them. One greedy monkey had tons of...More

This was an experience that I am glad I had. The Cave Temple is something that has to be visited and is a very good exercise regime as there are so many steps to climb before you reach the cave.

This is a temple with a huge statue of lying Buddha and other statues in a very big cave. See the signatures of the Thai kings on a wall. And of course, monkeys.
