If you love animals or have any empathy for animals at all don't go here! Animals are drugged and there is obviously things happening behind the scenes that are very unethical put your money into rehabilitation projects or sanctuaries. If all you care about is a 'cool' selfie with a tiger for Facebook then go but just remember you are making the choice to fund abuse.…

An awful experience. The tigers you see are quite obviously drugged. There are actually 147 tigers on site most of whom you don't see. The others are caged up in conditions that make a human prisons seem like a dream. Admittedly the tigers you see seem healthy generally but they are certainly being exploited for money, living very limited lives and being inhumanly treated as a result. The river Kwai, tiger temple and the elephant park are a great way to spend a day. Book a tour or negotiate a taxi, no more than 1500 baht round trip by taxi. I enjoyed it all. The River Kwai is a glimpse into the history of the 2nd world war, a bit to see, the museum, the war cemetery, a look around and a good place for lunch down by the river. You can add a trip to ride the train through hell fire pass, very emotional, but an experience I recommend. The elephants are great, feed them, ride them and know you are helping them as they no longer work them in the forests. You can also wash the elephants and enjoy a bath as much as they do. The tiger temple is a good visit, be amazed as you get to touch these cats...these huge cats. You feel that little bit of danger and excitement, well worth it. The cost for all I did was reasonable, except for the entry to see the baby tigers, it was too expensive, but, you don't have to do it, it's a seperate cost. All this area is a great day out from Bangkok and your back in time to enjoy the evening. …
