We arrived a little late for our timed visit, not realising that this was actually a tour of the farm. However, the girls were very helpful and got us into a tour that was already going round. We saw numerous horses, and had the breeding of them explained. It’s lovely to know that the breed stock is growing, including 7 mares in foal ready for next year. We used the cafe, and thoroughly enjoyed the cakes and coffee we had. We didn’t get to the garden, tractor ride or the heritage garden unfortunately but bought plants from the shop. Well worth a visit, I would have preferred a pre-Covid visit, when I preserve we would have been able to wander round at our own speed.

What a lovely place for the horses to spend their lives - so much space and so much loving car and attention. Good cafe and well stocked (and reasonably priced) gift shop.

Thank you very much for visiting us and for writing a lovely review. All of our staff and volunteers work very hard, particularly under the current situation, and we will make sure your comments are passed on to the stud and cafe teams.

Wow ! Yesterday I visited the beautiful Suffolk Heritage Garden which is lovingly cared for by volunteers and has a special tranquility. To visit the Heritage Garden there's no charge, free parking and a cafe too. Good coronavirus measures are in place. Thank you.

I'm writing a book that builds on the work of the late George Ewart Evans, so visited to see Suffolk Punch horses and I hoped some of the implements they powered. The museum delivered more than I could have hoped for. I left with a strong sense of why the Suffolk was a land, rather than a road horse, and was able to closely examine a Smythe drill, mowers, tedders and other horse drawn machinery. Best of all, as I took my wife with me, the guided tour of the paddocks made the visit interesting for anyone. The cafe also serves great coffee & cake!
