A little off the beaten track but well worth the visit. We drove down an iconic red earth road to arrive at the homestead. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff will give you a tour of the home and share some of the rich history of PEI....More
Forest, wildlife, nature and Gary! Must visit.. A real gem. You can go bird watching. Or you can look at the various flora and fauna. They also have a nursery and workshops on how to prune and look after trees.

Glad you liked it! It's a super spot to find nature, peace and learn about our native plants.
Greg and I enjoyed a reception after the play. We toured the house and saw the music which Sir Andrew's father wrote out on the back of wallpaper for the school children he visited. The Homestead is just around the corner from Orwell Village.

Thank you for attending the performance of the play of The Master's Wife. We're glad you found the history interesting. Come and enjoy lunch at our Veranda Tea Room this summer.
