A nice one close to Chennai. Weekends are a bit crowded, otherwise a nice one day trip. You will never be disappointed.

It's a very good place to carry out trekking activity.. but it's very dangerous too ...Lot of ponds in the mountains and a aswme spot for photography ...Best to go with a local guy for safety .. Entry fee 5/head

Kailasakona is hilly region with waterfall. Many people like to go there at weekends. We can say it is one of the picnic spot.

I visited kailasakona waterfall many times.The only thing I love is waterfall.You can go there by transportation faculties.And by walk from another way through woods which I like the most. Around temple hotel facility is there.And it has good picnic spot on the road way...More

This water falls is very heavy. Really I enjoyed a lot in this area. Cool environment. Superb weather all together made something something. Please be visit every one without missing

It's not a very big falls where you can spend lots of time. Anyway there is only a AP tourism hotel which you can book online. Or else any hotel in Putur which is 10kms away should also be fine.

Best season to visit kona falls is (nov -dec). Bon voyage,be safe.
