I love Putsborough beach. It has a nice little cafe serving drinks, food and the all important ice cream. Quite well sheltered so is ideal for swimming and surfing most days. There are rock formations on the beach when the tide goes out that are...More

We came upon this beach driving over the back lanes of North Devon. A clean, long sandy beach in beautiful settings.

Wow, what a beach, great scenery, reasonable cafe, good facilities, toilets etc, but if you want an hour or two of parking, just to walk the dog, it’s bloody expensive. £8:50 today and we were there 1hr 45mins. Shame.

Yes an £8.50 parking charge is in excess of other local beaches but you get a beach that is well maintained and toilet facilities which are above and beyond what you might expect, modern, clean and tidy. We took our own cream, scones and jam and...More

Very disappointed, fantastic location, facilites etc. Food always dry and uninspiring sadly! As after a long walk you could do with something lovely! Tip! Cover your cake it may have a chance!!!

This is a lovely beach. It's enormous so there's room for everyone and you don't feel crowded even on a hot, sunny day in the school holidays. There's a little shop and clean toilets. There is a large car park but be aware that it...More

Avoid bothering the journey as the greedy owners have once again toppled the charges now to an excessive rip off £8.50 with no offers for half day or a discount for few hours for the surfers. It would not surprise me if it hits £9.50...More

No. Just go earlier and stay later! Get your monies worth! There just isn't anywhere else unless you want a long walk.

The previous answer is wrong. There is an annual ticket available and you can also buy a weekly ticket if you are on holiday in this area and wish to go several times.
