Djupadalen is a nice place for recreation. You have a nice lake, a waterfall, and nice trails along the lake, and in the forest. This is also an ideal place for running.

I visit every week for walking or running. The outdoor space is awesome. I have seen hares, deer, mink, snakes and many birds. It's just a great place to unwind.

Very nice area for just taking a walk into the woods, swimming in Eivindsvannet, og go for a real hard running trip. In wintertime you might get lucky and find snow for going cross country skiing, but these occasions are very rare these times.

I agree with Sveinung's response. A taxi will be approx 100-150 kroner . It is just a 5-7 minute ride or so. Bus is perhaps a very good option for going back to town centre...or just walk down to the centre again as... More

About 3 - 4 km from the town centre. Allowing for that and some sort of walk whilst you are there, around 12 km in total. Of course, there are taxis, but they are not cheap!
