The reason for visiting Norway was to hike to Kjeragbolten. Well, I got to Norway 3 days too early for the direct bus to Kjerag, I don’t have a drivers license, and wanted the cheapest way. I quickly headed here to see my options. I was greeted by Natalia, I think that’s her name, originally from Russia. She told me she’ll help me in a moment. She was helping another woman and they were conversing in Swedish. Upon finishing helping the woman, she never skipped a beat and quickly assisted me. I told her my plans and she gave me all the possible options for getting to Kjerag. It looked like I was going to have take a taxi to Lauvvik which would’ve been almost $100. Natalia was super in that she kept thinking of ways to get me there timely and the cheapest. Just when I thought there weren’t anymore options...she suggested that she can send a message to her colleague at Stavanger tourist info and see if anyone is heading there the next day and maybe I can hitch a ride and pay for half. Lo and behold, as I’m on the train to Stavanger, I get a message from Grace in Stavanger that someone actually just came in and was heading to Kjerag. After meeting with the guy to sort out things, I headed back to Sandnes and thanked Natalia immensely for her superstar diligence and friendliness not because her job requires, I think she is genuinely an amazing kind person. I tried to give her some candies or something but she refused and told me safe travels!! Thank you Natalia!!

We got lots of information here, and they spoke good English. It was looking for the office as the signs to where it is located are pointing in the wrong direction. However it is next to the square in fron of the train station, on the corner accross a mall with a big MacDonals sign on its walls.
