Perfect voyage

We had a perfect voyage between Hirtshals and Larvik this time, too. When going to or from Denmark we prefer this ferry. Look for more reviews by MulleEllum.

Short cruise from Kiel, Germany, to Oslo, Norway, and back. Technically this is a very luxurious car ferry, but in reality it is an excellent, very high quality short cruise on a giant cruiseliner-size ship (there are actually two ships: the Color Magic and the Color Fantasy - both very similar). The cabins are beautiful, modern and clean (like you... More

The crossing takes some plus four hours. There is a buffet on board as well as a cafeteria with fast-food meals - and a bar/café with variopus drinks and sandwiches. There are recliner seats available at a price in a separate lounge. There are two tax-free shops on board with knowledgable staff. For a fast crossing, this is a good... More

In 3,5 hours with the speed ferry from Larvik, Norway you are very easy in Danmark. If you don't want to stay in Danmark there is possible to bay a day-trip; up and down in one day.

I have travelled on four journeys between Kiel and Oslo between December and January 2016/17. Check in at the port very well organised, loading/unloading extremely efficient and quick. Standard vehicle tariff is inclusive of an inside cabin, which is more than adequate for the journey time of 20 hours. The ship is well appointed and of a standard found on... More

We travelled with all of their boats and after every trip we had the same feeling: restaurants/buffet are quiet expensive. But at least you can enjoy a nice view :) Personally i think that prices in the tax free shop are resonable, but it depends on what you buy, if they have discounts. Booze, tobacco and soda are definitely cheaper.

There are 2 ships from Color Line sailing Sandefjord Strömstad. There are only 2 reasons to sail with them.To go from A to B or to buy so called "taxfree" spirits /cigarettes which are still very expensive compared to continental ordinary prices. The junkfood in the cafeterias is not worth spending money on. The staff behind the Cafeteria on the... More

Took the car and was parked at the upper level which was a very convenient access to the Lifts to get to our Cabin. The Cabin was so nice! Loved the window seat, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very chic. Much more than I expected. We even had robes and slippers. I got to enjoy a... More

The ship takes less than four hours from Larvik to north of Denmark. The fastest and the most reasonable way of going from Norway to Denmark. We bought tickets for "Business class" and paid less than 200 NOK per person. For that price you get your own comfortable seat in a separate silent room and offered delicous fresh fruit, cut... Very good pricess for members. Clean and okay boats. Afordable meals and som e more exphensiv buffets, but they often have free wine and beer som if you travel without car they are very good. Very good prices at the tax free. and often axtra 10% discount for club members.
