My partner and I frequently visit the Galleries Shopping Centre in Washington but have never visited the Old Town Centre at Concord before so yesterday we broke our journey home with a visit and lunch at The Sir William De Wessington. Yes another Wetherspoons but on this occasion my partner opted for something different off the menu and chose the... More

Went for lunch with a family of teenagers. Several lights were broken and the room was dingy. Food took a long time to arrive, although the service was friendly. When it did arrive the quality was variable. The bread was dry for both the naan and the baguette and the beef and ale pie was burnt. The burrito went down... More

Don't use the sauce bottles! Young mothers, of whom there are many, give them to their children to suck on to keep them quiet/amused, allowing the mothers to use their mobiles in peace.

This is a Wetherspoons chain pub. We visited for the Steak Night Special. Party of four. It was absolutely delicious. No complaints at all. Steaks were perfect. We will certainly visit again!

Although part of a big chain, each pub... More
