Came in here for drinks with friends and it was buzzing.
It’s a popular place with a good atmosphere and it’s the most dog friendly pub I have ever seen. Water bowls and dog treats in abundance. If you don’t like dogs stay away.
We have visited numerous times for drinks and the food always looks lovely however was really disappointed when we eventually tried the food. Called in with my partner and mother in law, as it was a Wednesday the place was quite empty. I ordered the...More

This is a pub/restaurant on the seafront at Seaburn, just outside Sunderland.
Parking is available outside and a public car park is close by.
The pub does not 'look like' a pub from the outside so if driving by you could miss it.
I came here recommended with some friends for tea on Sunday and was blown away by the first-class service by the staff.
The meal was quality ‘pub grub’ but it was the service which got this venue the five stars.
I was so impressed, we...More

the pub was not full while we were there so there was no reason for them to be in the lounge area. people are eating food here and not everyone is a dog lover. I think policies need to be reviewed as dogs seem to be taking preferential treatment over paying customers. I personally do not want to sit where a dog has sat.
