We enjoyed a lovely sunny walk on the Promenade to Bents Cottages and back to the cast Iron Lighthouse. The boards explaining were full of interest and information.

The Christmas lights alone the sea front are a credit to Seaburn and Roker turning a grey miserable winter period into a magical festive experience . In the summer the best beach in the North East that caters for ever taste

Not a tourist beach, a beach that locals use and all the better for that. Increasing leisure use mainly walkers but also with surfers and "wild/cold swimmers"!

I stayed in a hotel in Seaburn several times for work purposes almost 20 years ago.

It was nice to see the sunrise and walking along the promenade.

I managed to get a view of the beach on a recent visit.

Even managed to see the sun rising over the beach from afar.

We stopped in Seaburn to have lunch at THE BAY (excellent) on our way north. Had a brief walk along the prom after lunch. What a wonderful beach. May well have a few days here at some point in the future.

Had a lovely walk along the promenade dropping down to the beach then rejoining the promenade from the cat & dog steps, lots of dog walkers & cyclists & families just enjoying the glorious weather, really clean & litter free, so pleasing to see whether that’s down to the council or the people that utilise the area keeping it that way, simply lovely!

Very popular during the summer and with dog walkers over the colder months. The Stack is also bringing visitors in and soon the seafront lights will be starting

If you’re in the area the beaches are a must see. They are lovely to walk along and have some brilliant places to eat/drink nearby. If you’re lucky you sometimes catch sight of dolphins and seals too!

Came here on a gorgeous late summer Saturday as we had a bit of time to kill before the football. We parked on a nearby road easy enough and descended to a clean, sandy beach that was incredibly busy. Lots of families out walking plus all the dogs running around enjoying themselves. Above the beach are lots of seats where you can take in the views and enjoy the sun. From our vantage point we counted 61 yachts on the sea plus 4 canoeists and 2 paddle boarders. There are also plenty of eateries close by.
