We stayed in one of the three hotesl on the Corinthia Beach Resort. It was an ideal place to be located as it was walking distance to the activities in the small St George's Bay of St Julian's and nightlife of Paceville - which has good transport links to Valletta. We went in winter when the most of the beach... More

Not a whole lot to do right in this small area. Ok, there's a bit of shopping and a couple of restaurants which are not primarily bars. But this tiny inlet and even tinier beach is not all that suitable for swimming or wading as the water seems to be locked into the shallow end resulting in an unpleasant place... More

This place did not arouse me not to swim, not even to stay down on the sand. Lines of moored boats and yachts disable from proper swimming, and soaking in the ditch-water with machine oil is simply a NO. Nevertheless, the bay is popular among youth who apparently finds how to entertain themselves there in the best traditions of Paceville.

Typicall city beach with nice yellow sand and good view. Its easily accesible by bus or taxi. Its a shallow hidden bay, so even during the windy weather, its still cozy, without big waves. Its placed next to Paceville, the bigges party place on the island which may be an advantage or disadvantage.

St George's Bay was once a beautiful bay area that is now spoiled by the sprawl of Paceville. The street around it was dirty and messy when we visited over New Year and the overflow of rubbish from Paceville brings the area down. Without the Corinthian hotels up the hill this wouldn't be worth visiting.

In Malta, you could actually enjoy a lot of beautiful sea views, and this one is also in the list to be visited :)

Not a lot of bars or restaurants directly on the bay. Walk up the hill to Paceville and a whole load of lively bars, clubs, eateries. Probably suit the younger generation. Not that picturesque due to the development works. Beware fellas, the easterly wind will chill your cobblers this time of year so long trousers are the order of the... More
