Now under new management and has seriously gone downhill. Been going to this live music venue with various friends and family for 10 years but we all now stay well away. The beer has gone downhill, the staff are not very good and the music...More

We visited to join in with the fortnightly acoustic open night session. Good atmosphere and drinks priced very reasonably. Only drawback not easy to park. Try it when there is live music.

Never done a TripAdvisor review. Been to the Hop Pole for 5 years. New owner and the drinks are still good, band are excellent and atmosphere is as always. New owner is terribly rude and I won't be coming back.

Super pub - drinks great. Wonderful to have somewhere local to see bands - nice beer garden. 2 of my favourite bands haven't been booked again after many return requests so hope the venue isn't changing

Decent beer and atmosphere. A good line up of live music in a small and cosy pub. Small rear garden for sunny days

Busy little pub with a fantastic music scene. Very friendly staff. Great bands every week Small dance area, and can get very cramped when a popular band is playing.

Visited on works trip. Drank Craft Cider which went down very well. Would recommend for a few. Understand music later on in the week and weekends.

We started going here in June and we first went for the pool table, which is separate to the bar area, it's actually upstairs, which I love as you ain't having to move out of the way for people or feel like you have to...More
