Busy little pub with a fantastic music scene. Very friendly staff. Great bands every week Small dance area, and can get very cramped when a popular band is playing.

Visited on works trip. Drank Craft Cider which went down very well. Would recommend for a few. Understand music later on in the week and weekends.

Great music and beer. You get a very warm welcome at The Hop Pole and can enjoy some of the best live music in the area. Check the gig guide for who's on.

We always have a quick drink while we wait for our Chinese takeaway to be ready as they are only a few doors down. Normally quite busy (6'ish on a Friday) with a real mix of clientele. Good service from experienced staff.
