We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had a great afternoon out with two boys aged 5 and 3 . Lots to explore and the boys loved the park and the train rides. They enjoyed the woodland walks and we managed to have a picnic on the picnic benches and watched the local junior football teams playing. We visited the different activities going on lie judo, gymnastics.
There was a birthday party going on at the miniature railway station. Very well organised with lots of rides for the children. There was an adult party preparing for a BBQ outside the community hall. Lots of community events .
Think we will explore the woodlands each season with appropriate clothing and shoes ...great learning opportunities.
Cafe was reasonably priced too.

Superb activity! Only held once a month, and that for only a few months each year, so it was unsurprisingly very popular. Thankfully, there was a children's playground to occupy my toddler while we waited. But with tickets costing only £1 (or six rides for £5 - if you have the time to queue and ride those), amazing value! Oh yes, and my toddler loved it, too! Hoping to go again next month.

Discovered this place by word of mouth and popped in for a lunch stop while we were on a cycle ride. Can't fault it. We had a lovely meal and a nice chat with the owners. Very family friendly. Tables outside and very roomy inside for groups of people. They have a studio at the back which can be used for yoga and other commnity events, and hold outdoor bike and car meets too. Wil be coming again.

We went into the cafe this morning for hot chocolate and coffee. Unfortunately the service was terrible! It was very busy and my husband had tried to pay while waiting. No body acknowledged my husband, then the drinks were terrible. Again still no one asked for payment. My husband got so fed up and walked out. Then someone shouted at him because he hadn’t paid. We will never go back again 😡. Such a shame when it’s important to support local businesses. Unfortunately I will not be recommending them again.

The worst experience I have ever had having travelled half the world I have never ever met such a racist and ignorant person in all my years. I have just visited here after a business meeting and was firstly never acknowledged and when I was he asked us what we wanted when I told him he said I have to wait as he is doing the till and carried on with his activity. I stood for a while and he still had his back to me, there were 2 other members of staff that stood in the kitchen and didn't offer any assistance but just carried on ignoring a customer . The place smelt of burnt oil was very old fashioned and the service was next to zero. I was not served due to discrimination of the business owners son and will be taking the matter further under the Inequality Act 2010.

Was visiting to go on the steam train at Pinewood but decided to have brunch at the cafe which is like a social club. It was really busy so decided to sit outside, you order at the counter and pay and given a table number, the food is reasonable pub style cheap grub.
Good for kids and a quick cheap lunch.

We attended an event at the slot car racing which was great fun and very competitive. The guys running the club were enthusiastic and patient with us novices and made everyone feel involved. After the racing we ate at the café. The food was hot and fresh with great service. I had lasagne followed by apple pie and could not fault it. The bar prices were very reasonable as well.

Pinewood is a great community asset. A group of adaptable buildings set around an extensive car park. There are pernanent facilities such as the Pinewood Cafe, the Judo Club, the Scout Hut, Flying Start Nursery and the minature steam railway. Then there are the occasional events such as car boots and car rally's . There are extensive pitches and lovely woodland walks. A new children's playground. This really is a community hub. Poorly served by public transport but walkable from the local housing estates. Drivable as well although the best way is to walk or cycle as its great to get away from the car occasionally. Variable disabled access to buildings, although the cafe has recently installed public disabled toilets which are open to non customers. However, since the food and bar are so good it's worth stopping and relaxing.
