The drinks are London prices which I wouldn't mind paying if it was actually a nice place. But the man serving was rude when he misheard our order and argued with me about it, especially as he even confirmed the drink back to me to confirm. I did eventually get a replacement but the guy had to have the last... More

I’m not sure what I can really say about the Victoria Arms. The only reason we went, which was after a meal elsewhere, was that friend of a friend knew the drummer of the group that was playing that night and we agreed to meet up. From the outside the pub looks nice but inside it’s scruffy and needs re-decoration,... More

Popped in here after visiting the dreadful overly expensive ship Inn. This is a proper pub, everyone friendly. A decent pint and actually sold cranberry juice for the missus. This a hidden gem in Wokingham. Definitely worth keeping this pub in mind as nice local without the thumping bass music. We will return

The menu was good with specials giving a good range of varied food with different price ranges. A good range of beers all in good condition. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.

I took a bunch of people in to celebrate a birthday and they looked after us really well. Friendly landlord and staff, friendly locals, real ale and probably the best fish and chips in Wokingham. The fresh fish in great batter (not greasy) was a big winner. Has sports TV.

Why not five stars? Excellent ale - sampled the Doombar and the Timothy Taylor Landlord (my favourite). Screens for sport but not intrusive sound when we were there. Friendly and welcoming landlord and staff. The BEST fish & chips we've had in a long time. Open for fish & chips on Thurs, Fri, Sat (I think). Look no further in... More

If you're looking for a typical british pub without the fancy frills and whatnot, this is your place. It shows 3 different sports on flatscreen TVs, and the drinks prices are incredibly competitive, if not one of the cheaper places to drink in Wokingham. Greg the landlord is fantastic, incredibly welcoming and up for a laugh. It's not the biggest... More

I enjoyed the ale but others in our group mentioned that the pub smelt like a toilet. So the jury is still out. Perhaps worth including in a pub crawl ...l

We visit monthly always to include food. We bring all our friends. Always they and we love the reasonably priced food and in particular the atmosphere. Beer very good. Proud to be a regular
