We rode our bikes out to the lighthouse and were disappointed we couldn't go into the building. But, we weren't disappointed by the architecture or the views at the lighthouse. We also loved the sonar pole which was quite intriguing.

After going to the North Lighthouse, this was disappointing. Maybe it would have been better if it was open when we went. Not much to see from the grounds and made for a brief visit.

Worth the trip but need to wait for each tour to be over before the next one starts and if you are on a time constraint that may be challenging. But walking the outside there are plenty of photo ops

We hit fall weather just right and it was wonderful. Clear view to Montauk. Big lawn with a climbing rock and benches overlooking ~200° view of the ocean. Pairs easily with Mohegan Bluffs.

We took a cab and were impressed with this lighthouse and its views. The history of this lighthouse was so interesting. The cab driver was a resident of Block Island and gave us so many interesting facts about his island.

We have visited Block Island for decades but had never toured the interior of the lighthouse. Our tour was given by a knowledgeable and friendly man, and we were interested to learn many things about the history of the lighthouse and get a close-up view...More

Near the Mohegan Bluffs, this lovely lighthouse overlooking the ocean sits on a gracious lawn. Perhaps a nice picnicing spot.

we visited the lighthouse as part of our cab tour of the island. The light is very well maintained and looks very good for its age and wear and tear.

Biked here from our hotel in town. Good workout by the way! (Lots of hills getting there). It's probably the most visited spot by bike or moped from town. Unremarkable inside (you have to pay). Lovely views from all around the circumference of the property.

One of the better views from the island you can see out into the ocean and the wind turbines quietly generating clean power. The tour is interesting and informative. Parking can be a little tricky but well worth it.
