This is well worth seeing. It is also close to the parking area so you don't have to walk that far. Interesting to see the spot where the lighthouse used to sit, and to think about the effort involved to move it.

Most unique I have seen, and great docent to lead the way to the top if the winding stairs. Much history here, too much to get into. Go and see for yourself- this place will help to shed light ( Get it?)on Block Island's history:)

For me, Southeast Lighthouse is a nice rest stop or destination for a walk or bike ride from Old Harbor. Viewing it from the 2nd Mohegan Bluffs lookout on a clear day is breathtaking. It is also a nice spot for a picnic during shoulder...More

The lighthouse is located a short distance from Mohegan Bluffs and its staircase down to the sea. Its picturesque and the breeze is invigorating, especially on a hot summer day. Its mostly an uphill hike or bike ride, not an easy trek for those not...More

This is one of the two lighthouses on the island and it has a beautiful view of the ocean and the bluffs. I would go to see the sunrise or the sunset and go to the top of the lighthouse. The stairs going to the...More

Hi, WHat is the best way to get to the lighthouse. We would be taking the Ferry and have 2 Adults, 3 Kids under 10. Is there a transportation way? Thanks.
