An excellent swim!

We visited in mid-September, but the water was warm enough to swim. It was a day with surf so body surfing was part of the swim. A few small but non stinging jellyfish.

Beautiful sandy beach with tremendous view. Pack a lunch and enjoy the breezes and surf. A short bumpy drive on Mansion Beach Rd leads you to the parking area. No services, no rest rooms or life guards. Once there you can easily walk 6-7 miles on basically open beach with minimal crowds. Just fabulous

This isn't the typical crowded beach. It has nice sand and provides a place to privately enjoy the sun, breeze and beautiful birds. If you are a bookworm this could be a perfect place to get lost! There is no shade, so you might to bring a hat. If you are planning on staking in an umbrella, be prepared for... More

A bike ride away up a dirt road off of mansion beach road. Sparkling water and a Sandy beach will greet you. No real shade unless you want to hide under the tree area where we parked our bikes. If your coming by car of course bring all your beach equipment and enjoy! No bathrooms or changing area.

We rode our bikes from the main town to this beach. The beach is set off of a dirt road off of the main road. It's a great beach to bring a family. Beautiful sand and ocean water. It's rocky on one side and you can view and/or build rock sculptures. Great relaxing way to spend a few hours!

We rented chairs from our hotel and walked to the beach. We were within walking distance to the snack shop but not super close to other people. Had a relaxing time on the beach with the kids.

Not too crowded or rocky. Great place for kids and dogs. Family friendly. No lifeguards. You can watch the ferries go by.

This is just a gorgeous spot on Block. The breezes are fantastic being on the windward side of the island. There are restrooms and showers (coin operated) and lots of people!

Fine white sand, not overly crowded, great for a long beach walk. Beware no toilets or services in this location.

Very beautiful sandy beach and lovely water. No bathrooms or refreshments. Just a great place to set up an umbrella and chair (that you bring from home) and read a book, go for a swim or a long walk etc. Beach is dog-friendly but dogs must be on leash. My french bulldog loved it.
